Advil Cold/Sinus is my friend..

..my very close and personal friend. I don't know whether to be grateful or sorry that I appear to have left it in the hotel. I'm a little cautious of ODing on otc helpers. Still and all, it was nice to be able to sleep some.

That, and I've found a local Panera bread company, so dinner is possible. Life is good.

So, when you're swathed in sweaters and jackets and so forth and wrapping your arms about you for warmth and coughing periodically, what do you answer when you're asked, "Are you sick?"

Comments

Nope! But my friend is and we heard that misery shared is misery halved so I'm *pretending* to be sick so that he'll get better in *half* the time!

Its great! Want to help? Just cough . . . go ahead . . .Aw C'mon, we'll help *you* the next time your sick . . . Fine then! Be that way . . . jerk . . .

I love that your coughing is an irreparable invalid markup! LOL!

Fix that coughing manually! Er.. whatever that means. :P
Hmmm... Most of the things I can think of aren't appropriate to say at work. OK, aren't appropriate to say, ever.. and go more in the "think them loudly" category. Which means you've probably already thought them too. ;)

There's always the blank stare while breathing in their face? Ok, maybe not. :)

Panera bread? Do elaborate? :)

I will not end every paragraph with a smiley. :)

OK, maybe I will. :P

I hope you're feeling lots better!! Do you get to go home tomorrow? Love you!
Panera Bread Company is a chain that serves salad, soup, and sandwiches. They're like the Corner Bakery, Atlanta Bread Company, and a little like La Madeleine (without the entrees). Their bread is good, but they aren't my very favorite. The french onion soup was perfect for the cold, though.

I do feel a little better today, but I have a great fear of the 3 hour flight this evening. Air flight + congestion = unhappiness.

Love you too!
